Okinawa Trip!

This is the Nakanijinin castle. It is a world heritage site in Okinawa. I have never been to Oinawa but I really want to go. I have heard wonderful things about it! I heard that the beach is absolutely beautiful!!! And the water is a perfect aqua blue and green...I would love to go scuba diving or snorkeling there!! Also, I heard that the people are very laid back and very "slow pace". I heard that Okinawan people are different from ther people all over Japan. I have eaten Okinawan food before. I like "Goya-Chanpon"!! Goya is a Okinawan vegetable which is a little bitter. Also, Okinawa is famous for "pork" food...like "Pig`s feet" and "Pig`s ears" and "Pig`s face"!! I have tried pig`s feet before...It was ok, but not my favorite. Some people LOVE pig`s feet though...I can`t understand why...and the FACE and EARS, I will PASS!!!

From the busena terrace hotel! This is a luxurious resort hotel in OKinawa. It`s a little expensive so if you are trying to save money, I don`t recommend it! But it looks beautiful!

Ms. K in Okinawa! She looks cute! She gave me some delicious sweets as a souvenir! And she sent some beautiful postcards which I keep posted on the wall in the classroom.
