Mother Nature

Last night I watched a DVD. It was Al Gore`s movie, about the environment. One of my friends Ms. M recommended the movie to me a while back. Do you know about this movie? Al Gore used to be the "next president"...(This is a joke!) Actually he was the Vice-President when Clinton, "Mr. I love Cigars", was President. Gore went on a tour all over the world promoting his views on the environment. About the movie, it is an interesting, serious, and educational movie, so I recommend it. Gore talks all throughout the movie. He is a good speaker and at times humorous. Especially for people who study English, I think it is good, because his English is easy to follow, clear, and slow.

Now, after seeing it, did I change what I do to help the environment so much...no. But, I think that I will think about the environment more from now on. Of course, I recycle cans and bottles, and divide burnable goods and non-burnable goods. I also try not to use so many plastic bags and stuff. About wooden chopsticks, some people are really fussy about them, saying they should not be used because many trees are destroyed, etc. So some people carry around their own personal chopsticks. I used to do this about 10 years ago, but now I don`t. I use the same chopsticks every night, but when I go out for lunch or to a soba or udon shop, I use the wooden disposable ones. What do you do to help or hurt the environment?

If you ask me about the chopsticks… I all ways use the wooden disposable
one at outside.
But I usually using undisposable wooden chopsticks in my house, yes same as
you.
I think it is very important that what is the best for enviroment? That if
you used something, after…
Just throw away or Recicle.
I use to recicle the used chopsticks when I worked at Okonomiyaki
restaurant.
I usually used the chopsticks for the BBQ, like the chacorl.
