Do you know the Mickey Mouse song? This cute girl got to meet Minnie Mouse during her summer vacation. Her parents took her to Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea. Her parents are also big fans of Mickey and Minnie and Donald and Goofie, so they had a blast! But it must of been crazy hot I think...Out in the sun all day...waiting in lonnnnngggg lines! I hope the whole family drank a lot of fluids so they didn`t get dehydrated and even worse heat stroke!
I have never been to Tokyo Disney Land, but I want to go one day. Did you see the news the other month about the "fake" Disney land in China!! The characters looked thin and weak and not bright and colorful! That`s illegal!! I was surprised! And shocked! And disappointed! That theme park was not privately run!! It was run by the government!!! Unbeleivable!
Tonight and tomorrow there is an OBON Festival in Honmachi, at Kita-mido Temple. Next week, the 27th and 28th, there is another festival at Minami-mido Temple. Both of the festivals are great, but I prefer the one at Minami-mido. Anyway, if you have time, check it out!

As you guessed, it was extremely hot to be outside all day, expecially the parade my daughter enjoyed to watch started at 2:30pm, the hottest hour of the day! We sat on the ground during the parade but the ground absorbed sun heat and we felt like our butt was burning. All family got tanned and exhausetd after.
I wouldn't recommend you to go to Tokyo disneyland during Summer.

Thanks a lot for writing a comment on my blog! I was surprised because at first I thought is was your husdand, THE Doctor, who wrote it. But it was strange because the english was really good, so I thought maybe he suddenly improved very much!
Your daughter is really cute! I have heard from other people that the parade is really good too! I want to go to Tokyo Disneyland one day!
But sitting on the hot pavement is not good for your butt! So next time, if your butt feels like it is burning, please tell your husband to go find some wet and cool towels to put on the ground under you!
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. For your husband to improve his english, i think it is very important that he take a special "all day sunday" course. It begins around 9am and finishes around 4, so he will be home by dinner. Please think about it MRS. Doctor! It will be good for him in many ways!
