I was surprised that there was such a big reaction to his passing in Japan. I didn't realize so many people liked him.
Simply, My thoughts...I remember watching the debut video of Thriller when I was in elementary school or junior highschool, i forget exactly when it was. The video debuted on MTV, and it was a big thing...I also liked another of his songs, it was about children in Africa, a slow song, but I also forget that title...
For english study, do you know the meaning of "Beat it!"?
It means "Get out of here!"
What are your thoughts about Michael Jackson?

Nah, it wasn't "we are the world." it was a different one. But "we are the world" was a HUGE song too...
