"All for one, and One for all"...today of 61 years ago...

Ms. Ai sent me this pic from Tokyo. She went there last weekend. On August 6th, 61 years ago, Hiroshima was attacked with an atomic bomb... this work was drawn by Taro Okamoto. Do you know who he is? Do you know his work? His work is on display at Banpaku Park in Osaka. It`s called "The Sun Tower". I put a pic of that on my blog a while back..did you see it? What do you think about the above photo?

And last night I saw a documentary of a man who experienced both Nagazsaki and Hiroshima...I didn`t catch the gentleman`s name, but his story and character was very moving...He said "Heiwa (peace)" is "All for one, and one for all"...

What a great work is!
I think Taro Okamoto to be a great artist.
The tower of sun is very very huge statue so you can feel his power.
I love his works very much.

When I look at the picture, I can feel how the death is scarely.
I still remember him on TV. He always said that Art was explosion. He really looked like a strange person, but every one liked him. He made us laugh a lot. Although he was a great artist, he was not arrogant.
To me, the tower of sun is shocking because it is spooky. I do not want to see it at midnight.

i have a head ache
i found your blog because
nagazaki came into my mind
when i was thinking to remember hiroshima
and i could not remember
was it the same or not the same
because hiroshima is more famous
in the world
but then
i saw
in your words
it was the same
and it said

and it was very moving.

all for one and one for all.

I feel for the people of japan
at the same time

i realised yesterday
the fear of the american people at the same time

blown out of proportion of course

it was so ironic

einstein
the great mind
his thoughts and actions and great brain

and insights into the workings of the universe

blown out of all proportion

by other scientists
paid
by governments
to show off their power and might
to the rest of the world

as demonstrated

such a time now
perhaps
for the people of japan
to talk to the people of russia

who are thinking to show off their power and might

who started what
when where how

does it matter

we are all one
and we are affected
please slow down
and calm down your words
and your minds

the world
does not need to end
we do not need
apocalypse now

jesus never said
that it was meant to be
we
are all
supposed to live happily ever after

it's a nicer ending to the story

there are so many wonderful and beautiful things in the world
it's up to us to treasure and nurture them
and hold onto them

and look after them
and take care of them
and not destroy them

if we are so powerful
why don't we use that power
in a good way

for peace

:-)

i had 3 out of body experiences over the last 2 years
i don't think death in itself
once you are dead is scary
fear of death is scary
and pain and suffering because of having to leave the body when you don't particularly want to and feel quite happy and attached to your body is quite painful and tiring and hurtful
i think there are lots of drugs that the brain also produces that counter act the effect of pain a lot of the time when you really are dying or maybe some greater spirit will take you and tell you that it's ok
pain is kind of essential to protect ourselves from invasion by dangerous forces
or what else
tell us something is not quite right

if we relax
pain is not so painful
but then we have to be careful what we relax about
do we really want to endure that or not
do we really have to submit to that or not
it's about freedom of will and choice also
terror of course of the unknown
always makes things more painful
if we are not scared of death and it is not scarey then maybe that's a good thing
or maybe it is a dangerous thing
because if we were not scared of death
then maybe we would run out as a species.
maybe we would be happy and re-incarnate a lot.
and death would be like bunjy jumping
an interesting and enjoyable experience
but then maybe we would get anxious about sex.
we would need to have lots of brothers and sisters to make sure to keep the species going in case we died.
again.
anyway
it makes you think that
pain is a good idea sometimes
or maybe it has a message
it keeps us aware of being alive
and teaches us stuff
tells us what is important to us
triggers stuff in us
to protect ourselves
and value ourselves and defend ourselves.
what can i say
these are vain words
how can i say anything
i used to feel terrible fear also

in the 80s we were always told that maybe russia would blow a bomb on our heads
and obviously i felt scared and felt for the people of japan
and didn't want them to feel that ever again
and i didn't want to feel that either
a strange kind of fear
that there is nothing you can do
that everything will be erased in a blinding power of light
and that is that
i remember reading that cockroaches and shaolin monks can survive
so i wanted to learn shaolin kung fu

i did a bit
some lessons

i also killed some cockroaches once
they were not that invincible
but they were living in a coffee making machine and it was quite hot and filled with boiling steaming parts and they survived until i came along and squashed them under a tissue.
sorry to the mummy cockroaches and the baby cockroaches.
i am sure that there are more of you though so i am sure that the cockroach species will survive.

i hope that japan is ok now
and i think of the cherry blossom trees and wish to see mount Fuji one day and see all of Japan one day before me with a big smile on my face to be in this place. and see the snow on the volcano and the blossom on the trees and the sunset before me.

after a clear blue day.
bye
smile.

hello to mount fuji:
