Take your trash home!!

Good morning. The other day I had a "mixed-feelings" experience. Recently I go hiking in Nigawa Mountain. I have a favorite waterfall and little river, or creek, which I like to play in. When I went there the first time, there was also another couple there. They were wearing wet suits (like for scuba), which I thought was a little much=overdoing it. I was onyl wearing an orange bathing suit. However, I realized later that they were wearing this scuba gear because they were also picking up trash in the water. I thought Ah, that is very nice of them."

The next time I went to this spot was about 3 days later. I was really excited to go, but when arrived I was shocked...there was a ton of trash everwhere!! So, instead of playing like a fish in the water, I decided to also clean up. I found some plstic bags and afetr about an hour, I filled to medium sized plastic bags with all different types of trash...plastic bottles, chlidren`s scuba shoes, boxer trunks, fihsing rods, fishing nets, coffee cans, cartons of tea and coffee and corn soup...it was all disgusting and i was disgusted, but I really felt it was my duty to clean up my new favorite spot. But the whole time I was wondering..."Why do people just leave their trash?", "Is it really so difficult to throw away your trash in a trash can?" I was a little irritated and agitated, and disappointed...but it was worth it. Next time I go there, I am going to bring abig black trash bag, but I am also going to enjoy the beauty of nature!! Look at the pics below please.

My wish for the July 7th festival yesterday is: Please, let`s all, make effort to keep our playground, nature, clean!
