Okayama
Ms. e went to Okayama on a one day trip last weekend. Also, I believe the Doctor went back to his hometown, Okayama, last weekend too. I have heard many times that Okayama is a beautiful place with a lot of wonderful nature! Sounds perfect for me. Actually I have been to Okayama once many years ago... Hopefully I can go again sometime soon too.
Have you ever been to Okayama?
About the photos below, please read the "comments" for e`s great explanation.
Thank you e!

e`s explanation:

Hi,g How's everything ? I went to Okayama prefecture by bus last Saturday. It was fun !My purpose was to visit a castle town (Katuyama city) and to see awaterfall (I like to see waterfalls) Katsuyama-city is located in Northwest in Okayama prefecture and the cityconcerves old face of the streets, old Samrai's houses, storehouses and so on.I felt I was back to many many years ago.My pics were a front of Japanese sake shop (manufacturer) bicycle shop andstorehouse. Do you realize a Noren(like Japanese curtain) in front of the bicycle shop?In this city, they use Norens to promote the town,so many shops and houseshave a unique Noren. For shops.it expreses what they treat and other cases it is a familysymbol. They are very colorful and their designs are really nice. In Japan Noren is a symbolism of well-established companies or shops.sothere are many idioms usingNoren, for example, to keep Noren means to try to maintain their historyand honor.Regarding to Semba Kiccho's scandle, many people said, they injured theirNoren. About the waterfall,it is Kanba (measn a garden of the God) no taki whichis one of the best 100 waterfalls in Japan. To see waterfalls makes me really refreshed and I could take a minus ion 'sshower. See you later e
